Clinic staff: delete your account
- Write to hello@vitels.in with the subject "Delete my Vitels account".
- Give your name, the mobile number you sign in with, and your clinic's name.
- We may call or message that number to confirm the request is yours, then delete the account and write back when it is done.
What is deleted
Your name, mobile number, email, professional details (registration number, qualification, signature image), your sign-in sessions and the push notification tokens of your devices.
What stays with the clinic
Prescriptions, bills and security log entries you created are part of the clinic's records, so they stay with the clinic. Medical records may have to be kept for the period the law requires, such as NMC or state rules, even after a deletion request.
Clinic owners: delete the clinic's data
The clinic owner writes to hello@vitels.in from the clinic's registered contact, asking to close the clinic's account. Ask for an export first if you want a copy of your records. We then delete the clinic's data, except records the law requires to be kept.
Patients
Your records belong to the clinic you visited, which is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Ask that clinic to correct or delete them. If you cannot reach the clinic, write to hello@vitels.in and we will pass your request to it.
